Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly Food Stamps)
To apply for SNAP, you can fill out the applicable portions of the Application for Public Assistance, or the program specific Food Stamp Program Application. The easiest way to apply is online, click here for an online application.

When you have completed the application take it, mail it or fax it to your local Office of Public Assistance (OPA). 

After turning in your application, you must have a face-to-face, or phone interview with a county worker before you can get SNAP, click here for a listing of the county office locations and phone numbers.
